Capana is a small but highly experienced company based in Støvring, North Jutland. We consist of a dedicated team of six employees, and as a company, we have over 20 years of experience in Business Intelligence (BI). Capana specializes in delivering Qlik-based solutions, making us one of the most experienced BI houses in the Nordics. Our mission is to help companies create insight and value through data by providing tailored reporting solutions.

2003 - The Foundation
Capana was founded in Aalborg in 2003 by Anders Frost, Johan Ohlstenius, and Niels Krogh Olsen, focusing on wholesale billing and business intelligence for the telecom industry. The name Capana is derived from Capacity Analysis.
2004 - Increased BI Presence in the Nordics
Capana became the first company in Denmark to sign an OEM contract with BI application provider Qlik.
2006 - Billing and Revenue Management Move to Sweden
Capana expanded and opened a branch in Gothenburg, where all wholesale billing development was moved. Capana strengthened its position by hiring employees with several years of experience in revenue management.
2008 - Capana Consulting
Capana further expanded by opening a new office in Copenhagen, offering business consulting services stemming from the BI department. The main goal of the business consulting department was to meet the growing demand for management consulting services.
2010 - Capana Operations
Capana expanded by launching Capana Operations, offering complete IT infrastructure support and taking over IT operations for companies such as Telenor Denmark. That same year, Capana joined the GSM Association, actively participating in several groups like BARG and TADIG.
2013 - Capana Celebrates 10 Years
Capana celebrated its 10th anniversary with over 90 employees. Capana won a major contract to deliver CapSettle Roaming (TAP, RAP, RAEX) and BI to two of Brazil’s largest telecom operators.
2014 - Capana 2.0
Capana hosted TADIG #77 in Marstrand, welcoming participants from around the world. Consulting and BI moved into new premises in Aalborg. Capana Operations merged with Telenor Denmark, exiting the Capana group. The new version of Capana now focused entirely on core services: Business Intelligence, Revenue Management, and Managed Services.
2016 - Focus on BI and Revenue Management
Managed Services was removed from Capana's product portfolio. The Danish branch now focused primarily on business intelligence (www.capana.dk), while Revenue Management activities were managed by the Gothenburg branch (www.capana.com).
2018 - Capana Sweden Sold to Enghouse
Capana's Swedish branch was sold, and Capana shifted to a 100% focus on delivering Business Intelligence solutions to businesses across the Nordics.
2023 - Creation of esgBRICKS
To meet the growing demand for automated ESG reporting solutions, Capana developed esgBRICKS. This platform simplifies and optimizes ESG reporting for companies across industries, ensuring they can easily meet the latest sustainability reporting requirements.
