CapSettle Meter Data Manager is built on an open platform, allowing streamlined integration with external systems, and flexible adaptation to growing market regulations and industry innovations.

The CapSettle Meter Data Manager collects, validates, aggregates, and produce invoice statements in near real-time, and provides further analysis and forecasting possibilities with its dynamic reporting and business intelligence interface. The rating in CapSettle MDM is highly flexible and can be configured basically any way the user wants, including hourly, weekly and monthly readings and rating, using discounts and/or  fixed fees.

• Scalable to handle extrem growth
  The solution has a proven capability of processing over 4 billion transaction/day on low end hardware.
• Flexible integration and adaptability
  The open platform and rule based architecture of the CS MDM solution, makes it possible to receive data from a multitude of data sources, such as AMR/AMI, SCADA, other external databases or file systems. It also enables quick implementation of customized functionality, resulting in short time to market (TTM) for new business setup and services, including multi-utility metering.
• Rating and Settlements
  Processing is 100 percent controlled by the rule engine in CapSettle. All rules are validated against the business reference data which is setup in CapSettle. If all validation has passed, rating, recurrent charging, discount calculation, or financial feeding are examples of features that can be used in the processing cycle engine. If validation has not passed, an advanced error handling mechanism will guide the user through the correction and re-processing phase.
• Dynamic reporting and business intelligence
  The output from the processing phase is immediatly available for reporting and intelligent analysis. Providing control and supervision of network and financial data, with full support for SAP, Oracle and other ERP.
• User friendly interfaces
  The solution includes features such as the AIL (for bulk loading of reference data), cloning and multi-edit (bulk) which simplifies day-to-day activities, lowering internal operational expenditures. It is also possible for end-users to access metering information using the web interface or mobile phone application.
• Non usage based charges
  Support for non-usage based one time, or recurrent charges, such as letting of space, leased lines or renting of equipment.
